Delegates can register for the upcoming 20th edition of the International Film Festival of Kerala (IFFK) from official website
Kerala State Chalachitra Academy (KSCA) had earlier said that the delay for registration was necessitated by plans to roll out a flawless advance booking system and to solve the glitches that had hit financial transactions through the Net and bank payment systems on earlier occasions. The KSCA has also decided to offer SMS reservation facility for IFFK 2015 taking into consideration the large number of requests made by youth organisations.
Only a certain percentage of the total seats in cinemas would be available for reservation. A delegate can reserve seats for only three screenings daily. The reservation facility for a screening will be open 48 hours prior to the particular screening. Delegates with reservations should enter the hall 10 minutes prior to the start of the screening, failing which priority will be given to delegates in the queue.
In online chat system and telephone helpline will be available from 9am to 9 pm during the registration period to answer queries.
Delegate cells will be open at the KSCA office at Sasthamangalam and the Academy’s Film Library and Research Centre at Panavila. Counters will be set up at both cells to facilitate registration in person.
Delegate cards and kits will be available from Nov 30 at Tagore theatre, Thiruvananthapuram.
