Only 7000 delegate passes are distributed for the film festival. The passes will be distributed on a first-come-first-serve basis. Registration can be done on www.iffk.com. The fee is Rs 400 for regular pass and Rs 200 for students’ pass.
During registration, the branch of the SBT where transactions will be made should be mentioned. Those who do not have online banking facility can remit the fee though chosen branches. The challan should be used for remitting the fees. Passes can be collected from the bank between November 26 and 30. The last date for remittance of the fees is November 20.
Fourteen films from Asian, African and Latin American countries were selected in the competition section of IFFK-2012
Seven films will be screened in IFFK-2012 in the Indian Cinema Today section. This will give the audience an oppurtunity to watch the current developments in Indian cinema
In the Focus section of IFFK-2012, four Vietnam films will be screened in the Country Focus section. Apart from this eight films in the Australian Indigenous Films five French Films on Adolescence and seven films in the new category Top Angle-Indian Cinema will also be a part of the coming festival.
