Mega Blood Donation camps at Techno park - First Camp on 25th April (Friday) at Tejaswini
With the ongoing season of summer vacations and public holidays, most of the blood banks in Trivandrum are facing acute shortage of blood. Many planned surgeries, especially surgeries of children are forced to post pone due to blood shortage. As a result, many people are in deep distress and the call of the hour is to address this concern in a more direct way. Main blood donors to our hospitals are college students. As main colleges are shut down for summer vacation, huge portion of blood donors are not available.
Being aware of the numerous active forums and groups working here in Techno park, PRATHIDHWANI along with TEJUS evaluated the conditions and planned to take up a joint Blood donation program during April – May 2014. Thus, for the first time ever in the history of Technopark, two of the most active groups are coming together for conducting the campaigns at the same time from this year. This togetherness will not only bring a maximum reach within Technopark, but a high level of professionalism among the like groups.
So, TEJUS and PRATHIDHWANI together kick starting their operations with the launch of 3 mega blood donation camps in Technopark on dates.
April 25 (Friday) at Tejaswini – 1st Camp
May 8 (Thursday)at Bhawani– 2nd Camp
May 22 (Thursday) at Nila - – 3rd Camp
