എന്റെ ഫീനിക്‌സ് പക്ഷി

പരിശുദ്ധ ക്രിസോസ്റ്റം തിരുമേനി 'കാൻസർ എന്ന അനുഗ്രഹം' എന്ന തന്റെ  പുസ്തകത്തിൽ പറയുന്നത് ദൈവനാമം മഹത്ത്വപ്പെടാനാണ് തനിക്കു ഈ അസുഖം വന്നത് എന്നാണ്...

80 വയസിൽ മരിക്കും എന്ന് ഡോക്ടർ പറഞ്ഞ ആ മഹത് വ്യക്തി ഇന്നും 102 വയസിലും നമ്മെ ചിരിപ്പിക്കുന്നൂ... ചിന്തിപ്പിക്കുന്നു....

 

എന്റെ ഫീനിക്‌സ് പക്ഷി ഒരു കഥ അല്ല; ഒരു ജീവിതാവിഷ്കാരം ആണ്.

 

നായിക സിമി. അവൾ വെറും കഥാ നായിക അല്ല. ശരിക്കും നായിക ആണ്. അത് വഴിയേ മനസിലാകും.. അവൾ സുന്ദരി ആണ് ..സ്മാർട്ട് ആണ്..ന്യൂജെനും ... ഒട്ടേറെ കൂട്ടുകാർ .. കോളേജ് പഠിത്തം കഴിഞ്ഞതും കല്യാണം നിശ്ചയിച്ചു ...അതും അവൾ ആഘോഷമാക്കി . കൂട്ടുകാരും ഒത്തു ചൂളമടിച്ചു കറങ്ങി നടക്കും ചോല കുയിലിനു കല്യാണം എന്ന പാട്ടിനു നൃത്തം വയ്ക്കവേ അവൾ തല കറങ്ങി വീണു! 

 

കുറച്ചു ദിവസങ്ങൾക്കു ശേഷം അവളുടെ ചേട്ടന് ടെക്നോപാർക്ക് ഓഫീസിൽ, മാനേജരുമായിട്ടുള്ള ഒരു മീറ്റിംഗ്..

 

സൈജു... താങ്കൾ കുറേ ലീവ് എടുക്കുന്നു ..

വർക്ക് ഒകെ മോശം ആണ്.. എനിക്കു ആക്ഷനെടുക്കേണ്ടി വരും എന്ന് കേട്ടപ്പോൾ സൈജു തകർന്നു ..താൻ പിരിഞ്ഞു പോകാം എന്ന് പറഞ്ഞു ..മാനേജർ രാജു വിനു എന്തോ പന്തികേട് തോന്നി ചോദിച്ചു എന്താണ് പ്രശനം? എന്ന്.

അപ്പോളാണ് അയാൾ ആ ഞെട്ടിപ്പിക്കുന്ന സത്യം അറിഞ്ഞത് ... സൈജുവിന്റെ  ഒരേയൊരു പെങ്ങൾക്ക് കാൻസർ ആണ് ..അതും അഡ്വാന്സ്ഡ്. കീമോ ചെയ്താലും കൂടിയത് ആറു മാസം ... അയാൾക്കു സഹതാപം തോന്നി ..പെട്ടെന്നാണ് ബത്തേരിയിലെ അച്ചന്റെ ഓർമ്മ വന്നത് .... സൈജുവിനോട് സിമിയെയും കൂട്ടി അവിടെ പോകാൻ പറഞ്ഞു.. ലീവ് എല്ലാം ഓക്കേ ആക്കി കൊടുത്തു ..

(മാനേജർക്കും മനസാക്ഷി ഉണ്ട് )

സൈജു സിമിയെയും അമ്മയെയും കൂട്ടി ബത്തേരിയിൽ പോയി അച്ചനെ കണ്ടു ...ആ പാവം അമ്മയുടെ അവസാന പ്രതീക്ഷ ആണ്  അതെന്ന് അവരുടെ അച്ചനോട്  കേണുകൊണ്ടുള്ള സംഭാഷണം കേട്ടാൽ മനസിലാവും ..ഏതു കഠോരനും ഒന്ന് വിതുമ്പും.

അച്ചൻ നിർവികാരനായി പറഞ്ഞത് ...ഈശ്വരൻ ആണ് രോഗ ശാന്തി തരുന്നത് ..മകൾ സന്തോഷവതി ആയിരുന്നാൽ അവൾക്കു രോഗത്തെ തോൽപിക്കാൻ കഴിയും എന്നുപറഞ്ഞു കുറെ മരുന്ന് കൂട്ടുകൾ കൊടുത്തു ..ഇഷ്ടമുള്ളത് എല്ലാം പറയാൻ പറഞ്ഞു .

 

ഒരു  കൊച്ചു കുഞ്ഞിനെ പോലെ അവൾ തന്റെ ആഗ്രഹങ്ങൾ പറഞ്ഞു ഐസ് ക്രീം ചോക്കളേറ്റ് ..പിന്നേ രാത്രയിൽ കോവളം ബീച്ച് ... കാശ്മീരിൽ പോകണം അങ്ങനെ  എല്ലാം സൈജു അവളുടെ ആഗ്രഹങ്ങൾ ഓരോന്നായി നടത്തി കൊടുത്തു ...

അമ്മക്ക് കുഞ്ഞുങ്ങളുടെ ചെറുപ്പത്തിൽ തന്റെ ഭർത്താവിനെ നഷ്ടപെട്ട പോലെത്തെ ദുഃഖം ആയിരുന്നു മകളുടെ രോഗം ..അവർ തന്റെ മകന്റെ വിധി ഓർത്തു പൊട്ടിക്കരഞ്ഞു ... എന്നാൽ അവിടെ ആണ് സഹോദരന്റെ സ്നേഹം അണപൊട്ടി ഒഴുകിയത് ... മോൾക്ക് സങ്കടമാവാതിരിക്കാൻ അമ്മ കരയരുത് എന്ന താക്കീത് ..പക്ഷെ അവൾക്കു ചേട്ടനും അമ്മയും തരുന്ന ജീവിതമാണ് സന്തോഷം ...കഷ്ടതകൾ മറക്കാൻ അവൾ തന്റെ ചേട്ടനോട് തനിക്കു പണ്ടു ലൗ ലെറ്റർ തന്ന മൈക്കിളിനെ കാണണം എന്ന് പറയുന്നു ... അവനെ തല്ലിയതാണേലും അവൾക്കു വേണ്ടി  അവനെ കൊണ്ട് വരുന്നു ...കീമോ ചെയ്തു മുടിയൊക്കെ പോയ അവളെ കാണുമ്പോൾ മൈക്കിൾ സ്കൂട് ആവുന്നു ...അവൾ അതും ഒരു തമാശ ആയി കാണുന്നു ..പാവം എന്റെ നായിക ...അവൾ ഇന്നും സുന്ദരി ആണ് .. റേഡിയേഷൻ അവളുടെ ശരീരത്തെ കറുപ്പിച്ചു .. പക്ഷെ മനസ് ഇന്നും തങ്കമാണ് ..തനി തങ്കം ..പാവം എന്റെ നായിക ...

സൈജു  അവളുടെ ആഗ്രഹം പോലെ രാത്രിയിൽ ബീച്ചിലും പിന്നെ കാശ്മീരിലും ഒക്കെ പോയി ... ഐസ്ക്രീം, ചോക്കോലറ്റ എല്ലാം കൊടുത്തു 

2018 ഫെബ്രുവരിയിൽ ആണ് സിമിക് രോഗം കണ്ട്  പിടിച്ചത് ...

2018 ലെ ഓണം കാശ്മീരിൽ കഴിയുമ്പോൾ ..ഡോക്ടർ പറഞ്ഞ ജീവിത പരോൾ കാലം തീരാൻ ദിവസങ്ങൾ മാത്രം ....പിന്നീട് എന്ത് സംഭവിച്ചു ..ചരിത്രം പറയട്ടെ ..ഇന്ന് 2019 നവംബർ 14...സിമി റീജിയണൽ കാൻസർ സെന്ററിലെ ചൈൽഡ് വാർഡിലാണ് .. രോഗിയായി അല്ല ..രോഗികളായ കുരുന്നുകളെ ആശ്വസിപ്പിച്ചു കൊണ്ട് ..അവൾ ഒരു മാലാഖയെ പോലെ ഇന്നും വൈദ്യശാസ്ത്രത്തിനു ഒരു അത്ഭുതമായി ജീവിക്കുന്നു... അവൾ ഒരു ഫീനിക്‌സ് പക്ഷി തന്നെ..

 

വിവാഹം ഉറച്ചിരുന്ന രാകേഷ് തിരിച്ചു വന്നു എങ്കിലും അവൾ ജീവിതം ഇത്തരം  പ്രവൃത്തികൾക്കായി ഉഴിഞ്ഞു വച്ചു എന്ന് പറയുന്നു .. കഥ ഇവിടെ തുടങ്ങുന്നു ..അവളുടെ  പുതിയ ജീവിത കഥ ..

 

ശരീരത്തിന്റെ രോഗത്തെ മനസ് കൊണ്ട് നേരിടാം

 

Jermy as the name say is smart and good looking..but...he's off here with a shabby dress in a wrecked desire....but why the heck he came to our office like this ....because he feel..we will help him get a job..so is he a fresher..no..he’s..off job

.why so..and how he get to a job..hm… thats our story

 

Let me go a bit back..I met him as a charm guy in spring of 2018...he was just like an early 20s guy..but once he told..that his salary was way off that he desperately quit the job….that too when he knew who I am and how I can help him. But I felt he took a big risk to throw away the job he had.

 

Rest is history or his story? ..he came and joined our company with his friends to learn software testing and get placed. But after the course he absconded like anything without paying the fees...so we decided to go to is house and request for pending payment. The scene was beyond our imaginations. It was a really poor family with parents finding it tough to run through days. Never from his dress or style we can think of such a background. He said he vanished as he doesn’t have money to pay, but promised he will pay once he gets a job.  

 

I just got a call he got a job....that is when I went down the memory lane. So its resurrection for him. He has risen like a phoenix bird. His salary is thrice that of the previous one.

Thank God    

 

Industrial revolution has given way to job and better life to many. Due to this, pace of urbanization also is at a very high rate in last few years, which is very good, but at the same time we should ensure it doesn’t affect the environment adversely. If an eco system is curtailed for better living, it will have its own repercussions. Recent incidents also state these truths. Let us see few of such incidents and think about some practical solutions to reduce such impacts.

 

Flood in Kerala – In 2018, Kerala faced its worst flood in hundred years. With that we went back by 50 years and it will take years to rebuild the charm fully. Though it’s debatable on whether we could have controlled it, since it’s a political sensitive topic I don’t want to rub pepper into it. We had heavy rain fall and didn’t have proper mechanism to evaluate and forecast rains. I am not sure whether such systems are being implemented anywhere effectively?  Let us leave such things and rather put our thoughts into why this much damage occurred? If we look into that we can see we filled paddy fields, did constructions on river beds and all such areas affected badly. We had to close down Cochin airport for many days! Huge boundary walls fell down. Digging soil from rivers has caused damages. We should be doing nature friendly constructions and not damage the scenery of the environment.

 

Landslide in 2019: Though not as severe as floods in 2018, landslide also caused heavy damage and death toll also was on higher end. If we flatten the mountains, cut down the big trees and move the soil to other low level areas, surely such things will occur. Lucky that it was not worst. Few farmers do farming of one item alone (like rubber) depending on what give more yield and profit. This is not the right approach. You should simulate natural forest concept of different variety trees. That will control soil erosion. The unfortunate incident is induced and inducted by land mafia lords. They have made huge ransom out of these anti environmental actions and even stay somewhere else happily. It’s the poor people who has hit badly. What wrong they did to see such a bad fate. Never alter the nature in such a manner, rather keep such changes minimal.

 

Girl’s death due to snake bite: All Medias are behind teachers who didn’t take care of the snake bit child. It’s so unfortunate, but why should snakes come to school? Because the school is near a forest area. So to make it simpler human has gone to forest and acquired that to make a school. Now where will snakes go? Why tigers or pigs or monkeys come to populated area? Because forest is being curtailed animals are forced to get into human space now. Let us understand that world is a place for all living beings and not just human.

 

There is a song sung by KJ Yesudas “gori thera gaav bada pyara me tho gaya maara aake yeha re”. you know who made that song/ it was by Bombay Ravi. He came to kuttanad and when he saw the beauty of  nature he wrote those lines. But now what is the stage of Kumarakam, Kovalam etc? Lot of garbage. We make our life more miserable. I have seen educated professionals throwing plastic bottle to drainage pits in Bangalore. You know the reason? 90% of such professionals are from other states and not Bangaloreans. So they are least bothered about the cleanliness of the city. Similar is the issue we saw with Chennai flood. Improper waste management leads way to more troubles. Few years ago Trivandrum city water management was very poor. But thanks to the strong leadership of Trivandrum corporation under mayor V K Prashanth, city waste water management is much better. Even high court requested Cochin Corporation to study the measures taken by Trivandrum Corporation. When we travel in train and near Kollam, we see lot of plastic being dumped. That is going to be big menace for society. We should take environment friendly steps. Plastic banning need to be more vigorous and rigorous.

 

We need good leadership, planning and thought process with good funding to do things in a professional and better manner. It is not just the leaders who implement this. It’s the common man, with civic sense who can respect nature and environment, failing which sooner the world will not be a good place to live. If we do urbanization considering the environment, then surely world will continue to be known as a better place to live in.

ഏകദേശം മുപ്പതു വർഷത്തോളമായുള്ള സൈബർവിപ്ലവം ഇന്നും അനേകം ജോലി സാധ്യതകളും ലോകത്തിനു പ്രയോജനവും നൽകുന്നു; എന്നാലും ഒപ്പം ചില ഭവിഷ്യത്തുകളും ഉണ്ട്. എല്ലാ നാണയത്തിനും രണ്ട് വശങ്ങൾ ഉണ്ടല്ലോ! എന്നാലും ഗുണങ്ങൾ ഏറെയാണീ സൈബർ യുഗത്തിന്. അനന്തമായ സാധ്യതകളും. അവ ഏതൊക്കെ എന്ന് നോക്കാം...

 

മൊബൈൽ യുഗം

 

ആപ്പുകളുടെ ലോകം ആണലോ ഇന്ന്... അത് ജീവിതത്തെ എത്രയോ ഗുണകരമായി ബാധിച്ചു.. ഉദാഹരണം, ബില്ല് അടക്കുക. പക്ഷെ, ചിലരെങ്കിലും ചിന്തിക്കും നേരെ പോയി ബില്ല് അടക്കുമ്പോൾ പല മുഖങ്ങൾ കാണുന്നു പല വാർത്തകൾ അറിയുന്നു. എന്നാലും സമയ ലാഭം... എപ്പോൾ ആവശ്യമെങ്കിലും, അപ്പോൾ തന്നെ പണമടയ്ക്കാൻ സാധിക്കുന്നു.

 

ഇന്ന് നമ്മുടെ കുരുന്നുകൾക്കാണ് എല്ലാ മൊബൈൽ കാര്യങ്ങളും കൂടുതൽ അറിയുന്നതും. അത് നല്ലതാണു; ഒപ്പം വിപത്തും... സോഷ്യൽ മീഡിയ മൊബൈലിനെ വിവാഹം ചെയ്തതോടെ അതിന്റെ ദുരുപയോഗവും കൂടി. എന്നിരുന്നാലും ഓൺലൈൻ വഴി ആഹാരം കിട്ടുന്നത് ഒരു അനുഗ്രഹം അല്ലെ?

 

പക്ഷെ അധികം ആയാൽ അമൃതും വിഷം എന്നാണല്ലോ! മണിക്കൂറുകളോളം മൊബൈൽ ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നവർക്ക് പല പ്രശ്നങ്ങളും വരുന്നുണ്ട്. ഉദാഹരണത്തിന് ഇൻസ്റ്റാഗ്രാം വാട്ട്സ് ആപ്പ് ഫേസ്ബുക് തുടങ്ങയവ... പക്ഷെ സൂക്ഷിച്ചു ഉപയോഗിച്ചാൽ അവയും നല്ലതാണ്.

 

1990കളെ ടെലിവിഷൻ എങ്ങനെ സ്വാധീനിച്ചോ, ഒരുപക്ഷെ അങ്ങനെയോ അതിനും മുകളിലോ ആണ് 2020ലെ മൊബൈൽ ഉപയോഗം.

 

തൊഴിൽ സാധ്യതകൾ ഇതോടൊപ്പം കൂടുന്നുണ്ട്; ഇല്ലേ ?? ഉണ്ട്. സൈബർ ക്രിമിനൽ ഉള്ളപ്പോൾ സൈബർ സെല്ലുകളിൽ ആളുകളെ വേണം. എത്തിക്കൽ ഹാക്കിങ് ഒരു നിമ്നോന്നത മേഖലയും അത്യാധുനിക സാങ്കേതികതയുടെ വിളനിലവും ആണ് ....

 

പലതും പ്രതിബിംബം എന്ന് പറയും പോലെയോ, പൊതുജനം പലവിധം എന്ന് പറയുംപോലെയോ അല്ല! മറിച്ചു, നവീന സാങ്കേതിക മികവുകളേ എങ്ങനെ ക്രോഡീകരിച്ചു മുന്നോട്ടു പോകാം എന്നതാവണം ആപ്ത വാക്യം. ഉദാഹരണത്തിന് ഇന്ന് കേരളം ഒരു കമ്പ്യൂട്ടർ വിപ്ലവത്തിന് ഒരുങ്ങുകയാണ്.2020ൽ കേരള മോഡൽ കമ്പ്യൂട്ടർ കാണും. 'മെയ്‌ക്ക് ഇൻ കേരള'. അതും ഡെൽ, ഇൻഫോസിസ് തുടങ്ങിയ കമ്പനികളുടെ റീസെർച് ആൻഡ് ഡെവലപ്മെന്റ് ഫണ്ടിംഗിലൂടെ. അത് കേരള സർക്കാരിന്റെ ഒരു മികവായി ഞാൻ കാണുന്നു.

 

പക്ഷെ ഇന്നും തനിക്കു ചെയ്യാൻ പറ്റാത്തതിനെ, അല്ലെങ്കിൽ തന്റെ പാർട്ടിയെ രക്ഷിക്കാനോ എതിർപാർട്ടിയെ ശിക്ഷിക്കാനോ വേണ്ടി ഉള്ള സ്ഥിരം പല്ലവി പാടുന്ന തിയറി മച്ചാൻമാരുടെ ഐഡിയ അല്ല! മറിച്ചു പ്രാക്ടിക്കൽ ഇമ്പ്ളേമെന്റർസ് ഇന്റെ ഔട്ടകം ഓറിയന്റഡ് അപ്പ്രോച്ച് ആവണം നമ്മെ മുന്നോട്ടു നയിക്കാൻ.

No doubt about it..but still I am confused at this shore

To reveal your age or not as its a Damocles sword to both of us...

But as you grow through decades..

അശ്രുബാഷ്പം തൻ സാഗരത്തിൽ വീണു...

ഭയന്നില്ല ആ വലിയ കോംപ്ലക്സ്ഉടമകൾ.... 

ഭൂമാഫിയകൾ വിറച്ചില്ല .. പക്ഷെ വിറച്ചു പാവം ജനം.. 

ഭൂമി ദേവീ കോപിച്ചതോ എന്ന ഗദ്ഗദവും 

മതഭ്രാന്തന്മാർ ചൊല്ലി ദൈവ കോപം ...

ഭൂമിയും ദൈവവും ഒന്ന് തന്നെ സോദരാ....

താങ്ങുവാനാവില്ല നിനക്ക് അവയുടെ കോപവും ... കോപമല്ലിത് രോദനമാണ്.. നിന്റെ അമ്മയുടെ തേങ്ങൽ....

അതെ സോദരാ നിന്റെ പൊന്നമ്മയുടെ..
