Technopark, Trivandrum authorities finalized a temporary policy for subleasing and space sharing of companies inside Technopark.
Technopark is against space-sharing or sub-leasing in the case of commercial clients and companies that have leased fully furnished space.
IT companies that have leased out unfurnished space and furnished it their own, if in a situation they have been asked to surrender the space to TP, and if they have identified another company to take up the space, then they can sell their fixtures and furniture. Companies that have taken land from Technopark and constructed their own building can lease 75% of their space. There will be restrictions on number of vehicles that will be allowed daily into the campus by the sub leased companies. The new policy has been circulated among company CEOs.
