As part of the annual event in memory of late Mr Ramanathan Natarajan a technical session was conducted yesterday (20th June 2012) at Park Center, Technopark. Ramanathan Natarajan, popularly known as RN, was the former center header and a visionary mentor of Tata Elxsi Trivandrum. This was the first of a series of technical sessions planned.
The first Ramanathan memorial lecture was given by Mr P S Veeraraghavan, distinguished scientist and director of VSSC. He spoke on the subject 'Autonomous Access to Space' and explained the history of Indian space program, development of launch vehicles, critical milestones achieved and also shed light into the future road map planned by ISRO.
The session was very informative and inspiring.
