Tug of War – General Rules
(Men & Women Categories)

Team Eligibility
- Only one team per IT company is allowed to participate.
- All participants must carry a valid company ID card.
- Only teams registered in our online portal will be eligible to participate.
Weight Regulations
- For the men’s category, the combined weight of the team (7 players plus 1 substitute) must not exceed 640 kg.
For the women’s category, the combined weight of the team (7 players plus 1 substitute) must not exceed 580 kg. - In case of injury, the substitute (8th person) will replace the injured player.
- If a second injury occurs and is verified by the organizing team, the injured player may be replaced by another member whose weight is less than or equal to the injured player. Spot weighing will be conducted for both players in this special case.
Match Rules
- Only one manager or coach is permitted near the team during the match.
- A toss will determine which team selects the court for the first pull.
- Matches will be played as best-of-three pulls.
- Referees will provide game instructions before every match, which must be strictly followed.
Fair Play
- Swinging the rope back and forth is prohibited.
- Pushing, shoving, or any form of unsportsmanlike conduct is forbidden. Teams must obey referee instructions and compete fairly.
- The referee reserves the right to disqualify any team at any time for foul play.
General Regulations
- The referee’s decision is final and binding.
- Organizers reserve the right to modify or amend the rules and regulations as deemed necessary.
- Participants may compete barefoot or wear shoes. Use of chappals or sandals is not allowed.
- Referees will be police officers and are from outside Technopark.
- All other colleagues and viewers are only allowed to stand behind the Queue stand.

Payasam Fest competition

- Anybody employed in Technopark IT company is allowed to participate.
- All participants must carry a valid company ID card.
General Rules
3. Only participants registered in our online portal will be eligible to participate.
4. Cooking at the venue is usually prohibited, meaning participants must bring their payasam ready to be displayed
5. A minimum quantity of payasam is often required, typically around half a liter or one liter.
6. Participants are responsible for bringing all necessary ingredients and serving vessels.
7. Organizers will provide table space for display, and participants should bring materials for presentation.
8. Judging criteria:
Judging Criteria
- Payasam is judged on its taste, flavor, and overall deliciousness.
- Judges may evaluate the originality of the recipe, ingredients used, or preparation methods.
- The visual appeal of the payasam, including the presentation on the chosen vessel, is often considered
- Participants may be prohibited from using instant payasam mixes.
- The judges' decision is typically final and binding

Floral Carpet competition

General Rules:
- Only companies registered in our online portal will be eligible to participate
- Only one team per IT company is allowed to participate.
- Company can pav the floral carpet on their corporate facilities itself.
- Inform Floral carpet convener for the date of pav (27th or 28th August)
- Judges will visit the company facility along with Convener and put marks.
- Companies are required to use fresh flowers and leaves.
- Usage Artificial flowers, artificial colors, and pre-fabricated structures (like stencils), colored saults will lead to disqualification.
- The Pookkalam should be circular in shape.
- The judges' decision will be final.
- Showcasing Religious or political themes or symbols will lead to qisqualification.
- Judgement will be on 27th Aug 25 (from 10am to 1pm for Technopark Phase-1 and 2pm to 5pm for Phase-3) and 28th Aug 25 (from 10am to 1pm for Phase-4)

Thiruvathira competition – General Rules

1. More than one team per IT company is allowed to participate.
2. All participants must carry a valid company ID card.

3. Only teams registered in our online portal will be eligible to participate.
4. There will be a dedicated stage at Amphitheatre and competition shall be conducted over here.
5. Group of minimum 6 and maximum 12 participants are allowed.
6. Team members should wear Traditional kerala dress.
7. Time allowed is 6 to 10 minutes.
8. Team shall perform the Thiruvathira infront of the invited Judges.
9. Judge’s decision shall be considered as final.
